MCRUA Railtours

The Mid Cheshire Rail Users Association (MCRUA) has a reputation for well managed and popular special trains. This includes Diesel hauled Railtours and Steam Specials along the Mid Cheshire Line.

With the experience of organising special excursions for over 24 years, you are assured of an excellent trip. 

Our last Diesel hauled Railtour, The Lincolnshire Poacher, ran on Saturday May 5th 2012 when the railtour headed for Lincoln, Wainfleet and the Seaside town of Skegness - the home of the Jolly Fisherman.

The Railour carried 536 passengers and was fully booked.

In both directions, this Railtour called at most stations on the Mid Cheshire Line, Stockport and Reddish South.
