Passengers can board at Reddish
12th January 2011
Reddish South is going to have 3 trains in the first week in May.
Normally, it only has 1 a week. And passengers are going to be able to go somewhere AND come back!!
Reddish South is on the Stockport to Stalybridge line. It is served by one “Parliamentary Train” a week, which travels on one day a week only and only in the Stalybridge direction.
Following a request from The Friends of Reddish South Station (FoRSS) to stop the North Eastern Express there, we said we’d enquire.
The quick answer back from Riviera was “Yes”!
So the North Eastern Express will now call for passengers at Reddish South.
