8-car DMU (2 times three-car plus a two-car) joint with Altrincham Electric Railway Preservation Society (AERPS).
We originally booked a 6-car and had to add the two-car because of demand.
At the time the Settle & Carlisle line was threatened with closure.
Stockport-Piccadilly-Oxford Road-Sale-Altrincham-Greenbank-Hartford curve-Warrington Bank Quay via Lostock Hall Junction via Blackburn, Hellifield to Settle, Garsdale, Appleby and Carlisle.
